Villa on Costa del Sol in a Japandi Spirit

The interior of this 300-plus square metre villa on Costa del Sol is a modern oasis of calm with a subtle japandi accent. The scale of the house called for consistency — one language of materials runs through every zone, so the interior reads as a whole and never becomes tiring.

Thanks to the minimal aesthetic and natural materials such as wood and stone, the interior became the perfect background for the views outside. The palette is muted and built on shades of sand, white and warm wood.

Generous glazing connects the interior with the terrace and the pool. We designed the floor level inside and outside so that the boundary between the house and the terrace is as invisible as possible.

Simple forms and neutral colours underline the elegance and function of a space that is both modern and comfortable. Bespoke furniture and built-in joinery keep everything in order, without adding visual noise.
