A modern house with a hotel touch

When designing the interior of this house we wanted to create a modern, elegant space with a hotel touch. That means restraint: few materials, repeated consistently through every room.

The basic colour is grey in various shades, ranging from cool graphite to a warm light tone. Working within one colour family gives the interior depth while keeping it calm.

We combined concrete structures and grey lacquer with exotic wood in a warm shade. The wood softens the raw finishes and stops the house from feeling cold.

At the request of the investors, a colour accent appeared in the showroom in the form of purple tables and stools, which we proposed in the form of swings - the one playful element of the whole project.

The result is a house that reads as a well-designed hotel: consistent, elegant and easy to live in.
